It’s been nearly two decades since the City of Spencer began recycling – and a lot has changed. That’s why a new committee was formed in the summer of 2008 to help identify ways in which residents could be informed of the expanded recycling services offered.
The committee includes:
| Bill Campbell | Volunteer |
| Bob Fagen | Spencer City Manager |
| Candice Getting | Volunteer |
| Craig Poulsen | Public Works Assistant |
| Curtis Dean | Spencer Municipal Utilities |
| Donna Fisher | Dep.City Manager/ Finance Officer |
| Jan Petska | Spencer Public Works Dept. |
| Jane Campbell | Volunteer |
| Kent Herbold | Transfer Station/Solid Waste Supt. |
| Mark White | Spencer Public Works Supt. |
| Randy Plagman | Complete Recovery co-owner |
These individuals have given of their time and expertise to help reduce solid waste (garbage) and increase recycling by the citizens of Spencer.
Do you have a passion for recycling? Join us! Contact Spencer City Clerk Donna Fisher at (712) 580-7200 to join this group of citizens.
