Recycling Committee

It’s been nearly two decades since the City of Spencer began recycling – and a lot has changed. That’s why a new committee was formed in the summer of 2008 to help identify ways in which residents could be informed of the expanded recycling services offered.

The committee includes:

Bill Campbell Volunteer
Bob Fagen Spencer City Manager
Candice Getting Volunteer
Craig Poulsen Public Works Assistant
Curtis Dean Spencer Municipal Utilities
Donna Fisher Dep.City Manager/ Finance Officer
Jan Petska Spencer Public Works Dept.
Jane Campbell Volunteer
Kent Herbold Transfer Station/Solid Waste Supt.
Mark White Spencer Public Works Supt.
Randy Plagman Complete Recovery co-owner

These individuals have given of their time and expertise to help reduce solid waste (garbage) and increase recycling by the citizens of Spencer.

Do you have a passion for recycling? Join us! Contact Spencer City Clerk Donna Fisher at (712) 580-7200 to join this group of citizens.
